Welcome

Welcome

Hi French Presse Family!

Welcome to our new online home. Re-imagined and updated to develop a customer experience as beautiful, mindful, and inviting as the linens we offer.

There are a few features of the site I would like to highlight:

We have established a new giving initiative with our French Presse Collection sheets, which you can learn more about here

We have teamed up with top names in fashion and design to offer a collection of bedding edits, which enable our customers to enjoy professional aesthetics in their own home.

We have improved our product selection to accurately reflect our wide-range of carefully selected goods. On the site, you’ll now find luxurious bed and table linens from Society Limonta, Hale Mercantile, and Libeco. Traditional, refined cotton-percale bedding sets from Sferra and Matouk. Cashmere and Alpaca throws from Alicia Adams, Teixidors and Oyuna. Striking plush towels and bathmats from Abyss Habidecor. Beautiful colored glassware from Ichendorf Milano and GlassyBaby. Colorful tabletop ceramics from MudAustralia. Super-soft loungewear from Sunday in Bed and Sleepy Jones. And exotic treasures from the North Indian artisans at Injiri and Neem.

And, last, our blog here. We will use this platform for a variety of reasons…but fundamentally as a way to share our stories and expertise with you.

Thank you for your patience and continued support over the last few months as we navigated a period of tragedy and transition.

My Mom started French Presse in 2014, a brave new endeavor for a mother of three in her 50s. What began as a luxury linen care and organization service transitioned into a beautiful retail store full of bedding and lifestyle gems. Today, we are a full-scale design and supply service to make your bed the perfect place to begin and end each day.

My mom poured her heart into the careful curation and design of French Presse. She strived to create a space where people would feel welcome, tranquil, and present.

Her prerogative was always to make sure everybody was happy. Her family, her friends, and her customers. She wanted to make sure everyone who left the store with a French Presse bag under their arm was bringing home with them a piece that would add joy to their home, that they would stop by on a daily basis to look at, smile, and appreciate.

In 2018, Sarah de Havenon passed away after a courageous two-year battle with Glioblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. There was not a day during her illness she did not exude courage and grace. While we lost my Mom here on earth, her spirit will always live on through her family and through French Presse.

I miss you Mom. I love you Mom. It’s all for you.

Love,

Dylan Fowler
